Terms of Service
By installing or using VoiceRead AI, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not install or use the extension.
1. About VoiceRead AI
VoiceRead AI is a Chrome browser extension developed and operated by Itrostack LLP ("we", "us", "our"). It converts selected text to speech using AI models that run entirely on your device. These terms govern your use of the extension and the voicereadai.com website.
2. License to Use
Subject to your payment of the one-time purchase fee and compliance with these terms, Itrostack LLP grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use VoiceRead AI on up to 2 devices simultaneously.
You may not:
- Redistribute, resell, or sublicense the extension or its license keys
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the AI model files for use outside the extension
- Share your license key publicly or with others
- Use the extension for any unlawful purpose
3. One-Time Purchase and Refunds
VoiceRead AI is sold as a one-time purchase with no recurring subscription. Payment is processed by Dodo Payments. We offer a refund within 7 days of purchase if the extension does not work as described on your device. To request a refund, contact support@voicereadai.com with your order details.
4. Free Trial
A limited free trial is available for each AI model tier (Nano, Micro, Mini). Trial usage is tracked locally on your device. Trial limits are subject to change.
5. License Activation
Your license key may be activated on a maximum of 2 devices at a time. You can deactivate a device at any time from the extension settings to free up an activation slot. Itrostack LLP reserves the right to revoke license keys that are found to be shared, resold, or used in violation of these terms.
6. AI Model Files
The AI model files used by VoiceRead AI are downloaded to your device on first use and stored locally. These model files are licensed under the Apache License 2.0 by their respective copyright holders. Itrostack LLP does not claim ownership of the underlying model weights. You may use the model files solely through the VoiceRead AI extension and may not extract or repurpose them independently.
7. No Warranty
VoiceRead AI is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee that the extension will be error-free, uninterrupted, or compatible with every website or Chrome version. Speech quality may vary depending on your device hardware and the selected AI model tier.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Itrostack LLP shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of or inability to use VoiceRead AI, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the extension.
9. Intellectual Property
VoiceRead AI, its name, logo, and user interface are the property of Itrostack LLP. Nothing in these terms grants you any right to use our trademarks or branding.
10. Changes to the Extension and Terms
We may update the extension or these terms at any time. Continued use of the extension after changes to these terms constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. We will update the date at the top of this page when changes are made.
11. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in India.
